Due date for GSTR 3B for April 2022 extended

GSTR 3B for April 2022

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has extended the due date of filing the GSTR 3B for the month of April 2022 from 20th May 2022 to 24th May 2022 vide Notification No. 05/2022-Central Tax due to the technical glitches being encountered by the taxpayers and tax professionals while filing the GSTR 3B as the GSTR 2B is not being auto populated into the GSTR 3B due to which there could be the contravention of Rule 36(4).

Also for the Quarterly GSTR 3B filers, the due date for tax deposition has been extended from 25th May 2022 to 27th May 2022 for the purpose of depositing the GST for April 2022 vide Notification No. 06/2022-Central Tax.
