Starting 1st April 2026, India’s tax landscape undergoes its biggest structural change in over 60 years. The Income Tax Act, 2025 officially replaces the Income Tax Act, 1961 — and along with it, the Income Tax Rules, 2026 have now been formally notified by CBDT in the e-Gazette.
