The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has changed the GST rate on Bricks with effect from 01-04-2022 in two slabs vide Notification No. 01/2022 – central tax rate and Notification No. 02/2022 – central tax rate.
The CBIC has increased the GST rate on the Bricks having HSN – 6815, 69010010, 69041000 and 69051000 from 5% to 12% with ITC and 6% without ITC.
These changes shall be effective from 01-04-2022..
